Nothing seems to workIs there some way I can upgrade the bios without being able to boot up? That may be the source of my headache but not for sure.

Strangely enough I have a spare test 160 gb drive with Windows 10 OS that worked then stopped working. I've low leveled the hard drive then formatted and set up with disk management on another T510 identical to this one. This problem perisists even after changing the bios settings around with different boot orders, hard drive to Compatability from AHCI setting and putting the PCI LAN setting to last in boot order. I've eliminated the optical drive as the source of the problem as it will read some disks.

The optical drive will read Lazesoft but not Windows 10 or can start installation on a 7 disk.

I have a Windows 7 install disk which reads up to a point where is asks whether you want to install or repair then sticks at the Windows splash screen "Starting Windows". This laptop can read my Lazesoft Windows Recovery disk but since there's no Windows to recover that's as far as I can get. I've tried to install Windows 10 unsuccessfully as this install disk doesn't read on this computer. The goal is to install any form of Windows on to my T510 laptop.
